1st Year Pilgrimage

Our wonderful new group of 1st years made their first Loreto school excursion recently by following in the footsteps of St. Declan in Ardmore, Co. Waterford. Even the dismal weather conditions could not dampen their high spirits on the day. Their activities included a cliff walk, informative talks on the religious importance of Ardmore as well as the history & geography of the region. This trip provided a superb opportunity for classmates to bond outside of their normal school routine- a routine which has been well established by a fantastic induction programme over the past three weeks. Teachers attending in the day included the 1st Year Head, Mr. Jer Holland, Mr. O’Mahony, Ms. O’Donnell, Mr. Roche & SNA Ann O’Brien.
